Height ranges from 60 cm to 83 cm. Female eagles are larger than their male counterparts.
Weight ranges from just under 2 kg to 3.6 kg. Again the female eagle tend to be larger than male eagles.
Bald eagles will hunt on any mammals like most other eagles do for food, however this eagle has a preference for fish and is thus often found in coast areas and areas with large rivers or lakes.
